Luke Mann – RHP (255)

I think this kid is going to pitch and play a position at Mizzou. He's one of their top HS recruits. The backbone of their class is the JUCO guys though. They're bringing in like 5 guys from San Jac.

But the Mann kid is playing in a low level collegiate league in St Louis. It's mostly incoming freshmen, low level JUCO, D2, D3, and NAIA guys. Primarily all from the St Louis area.

He's pitched 6 innings and struck out 15. He's batting .400 with 4 home runs in 12 games batting. He's way too good for the league and he's one of the youngest guys in it. He will be a good compliment to Kameron Misner, who I think is one of the best prospects in the SEC. But overall, I don't think Mizzou is really going to be much better than they have been in the league.

How does Vandy continue to get great recruits? Their field is shite. I know they have a great school, but let’s be honest these kids are going to college primarily to raise their draft stock.

Did D1 have us in their early Omaha 2019 prediction

Yes, good recruiting class, 3 key players skip draft, several players coming off of injuries.

I think the one I am most worried about is Smith. Back injuries scare me.

I think the biggest boost will be on the mound. We will have some real competition for the starting role. I hope we can develop 4 solid starters.

Our pitching depth goes from nil to tons for next season. It’s pretty crazy to see the depth we are going to have.
