Did you or did you not bring this argument to the board last fall? If you did not I stand corrected and I apologize.
You cannot install and run an offense in 3 days. I don't care who says that you can.

Install it? Yes
Run it? No

So he’s a likeable guy who occasionally brought something to the table - pretty benign.

I'm not saying he sucks. But Sean has had crazy good offenses for over a decade before Brady ever sniffed the saints.
I just hope he learned a lot from Payton and Carmichael.

I am not sold on Brady
I do think it was an out of the box creative solution w upside IF it works to gameplan in some situations.
If it doesn’t work or help I am ok w the offense we saw towards the end of last year.
I know there is no place for rational thought here. But I figured I would give it a shot

Now it's "install and run."
How is he going to run an offense in fall camp? There's no one to run it against.
Now you're just shifting goalposts to not be wrong. Again, I'm just reporting what Holgerson said, and I've never claimed that he said any more than that. If you disagree, take it up with him.

quote:I remember this. He brought up the quote about installing an offense in three days because going into fall practice Coach O said only about 30% of the offense had been installed. This came after E had been the OC all spring, so it's not like he got a late start.
Did you or did you not bring this argument to the board last fall?
quote:So the poster who constantly calls out others for "knowing more than actual coaches" is saying this coach who has actually installed and run successful offenses is full of shite.

Well, I don't think anyone really is at this point, but the offense will be different and the players returning are very experienced compared to last season, so there's certainly a lot of hope.

I don't know about him but I know that you're full of it. Especially if you believe that you can install a workable offense in 3 days.

So you're going to continue to add words to what he said so you can be right. Just stop it ben.
In another couple of posts, it's going to be "install, run, put up 50 every game and set records in 3 days."

Not adding any words. I said what I wanted to.

He had very little responsibility’s with the saints. More of a glorified water boy. Payton probably couldn’t remember the guy they were talking about lol.
So let me clear up some of this talk. This is Sean Payton back in January when asked about Joe Brady.
quote:
What did Joe Brady do on your staff well that allowed him the opportunity at LSU?
“Yeah, listen Joe brought a ton of information for us. Did a great job, he was involved in a lot of the breakdown of opponents, a lot of the drawings. He had coached in college and was very familiar with some of the RPO game and added a lot to our staff. We're excited that he has this opportunity.”

You're the one that claims that you can install a two minute offense in 3 days.

You should probably read the article before you keep making a fool of yourself.

Maybe just say "I was mistaken" and you could defuse all of this. You're just too hard-headed to admit you were wrong.

I've already said that I was wrong once. How many times do I have to say it?

Burrow (IMO) is a Top-5 college QB,
Good for you Joe. You finally woke up and decided to state that Burrow is a top 5 college quarterback "in your opinion", instead of trying to pass your opinion off as fact.
Job well done. FINALLY!
