Is Wing here legally yet?

I thought I heard he was out of practice at first because he was getting his papers or something.

Isn't Wing the punter from Parkview that the guy was raving over last year?

Yea Brad Wing is from Parkview. BTW I was the guy who was talking about how good Wing was. With some work with the Joe Rob Wing will be a stud. The guy can boom the hell out of the ball.

How does Crowton do it. It's like he identifies our best players, and finds a way to make them a non-factor in the offense. 3 of our best players only got the ball a grand total of 4 times in a 100 play scrimmage?

Surely you don't expect us to reveal our offense in the pre-season? Crowton is going to keep everything under wraps then BAM...he'll open up the playbook when we need it.

Some of us have been waiting for Crowton to open up the playbook for the last two seasons! Why should he change anything this season? I would rather see him take that playbook & use it for another school--it hasn't worked here!

Somebody needs to open it up. I almost wish someone would run up and pull his shorts down......just to see if there is a Roy Orbison tatoo is on his arse.

Eventhough it was a situational scrimmage they ran 100 plays. Unless they ran 30 plays from the 1 yard line. This is not good.

Based on the stats on LSUsports there were 32 running plays and 18 passing plays for a total of 50 plays not 100. Nola.com has 57 total plays.

The reason Crowton does well his first season is that he's forced to mix his offense into the previous years offense. This keeps opponents off balance.

In his second year, they'll start out okay, but once he installs mostly his offense, he becomes ridiculously predictable. That's why our offense tapered towards the end of the season, and once JJ came in and added a new element of the QB run as a new option and it helped in the first half of arkansas and then GT. Once those teams adjusted our offense crapped out.

By his third year/4th year teams have just entirely figured him out and he doesn't adjust. That is why his offenses stalemate each year worse than the previous. That, and his QB development is horrid.

Do you ppl not realize that we have the best secondary in the sec and maybe that's the reason for our AVERAGE passing game

Yep, this has been well documented from his previous stops. I'm just hoping Gonzo has some influence.

Ford may have been running behind the 2nd string OL, which then means his blocking could've been worse than that for Ridley and Murphy.

Oh I know its obvious, but I just think its hilarious that so many people just don't accept it. The guy is just horrible at developing young QBs and play calling after his first year or 2.

I hope we're better this season, but if we keep the same blocking schemes from last year (which Studs just can't coach) we'll get throttled by average defenses.
