Not really. If you saw the scrimmage I think you'd understand. The DB bit on a short route and the WR got behind him. It was a relatively easy throw for Rivers. But credit Rivers for making a quality throw.

Yea I'm drawing a blank on the WR but it was a great move.

Rivers looked good to me, starting to fill-out his tall frame. He was one of the few players I saw showing a lot of emotion after plays. Bolden just didn't do anything for me, maybe bc I am not quite ready for another scramming QB. Kid is new to the system so I will give home the benefit of doubt.

Well, you said Bolden was better and Rivers didn't look better, then proceeded to say that Rivers did do something that separated himself from Bolden in the game.

Not sure where people get Bolden is better than Rivers or Randall. He got benched at PSU.

Randall will probably be taking the HB route soon.

Randall didn't even get PT in a scrimmage, that should tell you something. He's been rumored to change positions for a while now.

I don't believe Bolden is better. I don't believe Rivers is better. So I don't know where you got that I said Bolden is better ?

Maybe when I said I disagree that Rivers looked better ? But that didn't mean I thought Bolden looked better.

If Shep catches that pass, which I believe he should have, then Bolden would have had a big pass play much like how Rivers did. Therefore their performance would have been on par.

The speed gap between PSU and LSU is a chasm.

Had high hopes for him after watching his HS film.

I've heard he is probably never going to play a down here at QB. I guess he just doesn't quite have the game to make it behind center in the SEC.

B/c Bolden is better right now, has faced major college football competition, because Bolden has faced SEC defenses.

That's why he would be the number 2 QB.

There.

I suppose the statement you made that Bolden is better right now made some people think you thought Bolden was better.

You obviously didn't read the quoted text or the rest of the post, did you ?

Someone said that basically Bolden would be the #2 b/c he can run the option. And I said it would be b/c Bolden is better.

I quoted the rest for clarification, and it doesn't really change anything.

No worries, I know what you were trying to say.

Just worded to where it appeared to be advocacy.
