It would take a 4and 8 meltdown to dismiss Orgeron this year. I do not even know why people talk about this. He was 9 and 4 with 6 SEC wins. He is only on the hot seat in the delusional minds of the nega-tigers.

I've said it before - there is a good chance LSU loses 5+ games this year. Even if that happens, O will still be HC next year.

It's not a question of "should he be fired"? He should have never been hired in the first place. He can't even match Miles' success, the guy LSU fired because he couldn't win championships. O was a bad faith, cheap-out hire by the administration. They know O can't win a championship. He'll be here as long as the administration thinks they can get away with having him as HC. In the past, that meant 2 losing seasons in a row.

Only delusional pro-O lemmings think LSU has a reasonable shot at winning the SEC and making the playoffs.

Eric, Scott and that Frenchman whose never played a down = imbeciles. Never are they insightful, knowledge escapes them on a variety of levels. No one predicted LSU 2001, 2003, 2007 as a BCS NC or SEC Champion.

I think anything less than 9 wins or 8 with a big win over bama or Uga and alleva and O are both toast.
you think Alleva and O are getting fired if we go 8-4???

We have scouts at our practices who are saying these things.

Huh? They won by THIRTY

And if it's because we mailed it in, then that's even worse

LSU didnt so much mail it in as they did just give up after 1 bad call by the ref. folded like a cheap beach chair.

If we're playing that game, we gave up against Auburn after they blew the play dead after we forced a fumble and ran it back.

7-5 will not save his job.

Sorry, O fans.

With two historically bad defeats and a fricked up OC hire costing LSU over a million and delaying offense development probably a year.

You don't have to be delusional to realize back to back four loss seasons or five loss and O has one foot out the door.

The guy played our weakest schedule in twenty years, loss four games with a senior QB, star RB, and a team ranked #6 in the nation for most talent. Add in the fact the offense sucked and the man has serious problems if he fricks up another season.

if Troy can beat LSU, then LSU can beat any of those teams too.

thats fine with me, I really don't give two shits one way or the other how or why your team got throat fricked the ensuing two weeks.

All I care about is the LSU head coach being able to motivate his players to not give up 3 minutes into a game just because they think the refs have it out for them.

This is correct. The bottom falls out he stills gets another year.

It's gonna be a ugly fall boys.

Anything under 8 wins should be fireable offense. That shows a very clear (and expected) regression under his regime. I personally think less than 9 should do it, but I’m not in charge

We were preseason #2 heading into the year and everyone knew we were loaded. USC/LSU was the popular pick before and during much of that season. No one predicted the manner in which it happened, but that entire season was insane for every team.

Les gets $125k/mo through 2022.

His $10m buyout is being paid out monthly over 6 years

So he gets 5.8 at the end of this year. Plus, ORGERON’s 8.5 at the end of this year. Paying 14 to get rid of these two AND MORE IMPORTANLY FIRING ALLEVA (and Alexander) would be a blessing.

Save your breath...or keystrokes. Most of these guys on here are delusional. Now we may end up winning 8 games, maybe 9, but there is no reason to believe we will based on the metrics/evidence going into the season.
If we beat Miami, which is a big if, I will be a bit more optimistic that we can get 8-9 wins.
