If we were going to spend 7.5 million/year for a coach (with 10 years Guaranteed......GUARANTEED!) I would not vote to spend it on Jimbo Fisher. There are a lot of coaches I would rather have.

No, Jimbo isn't going to beat Saban or go 11 & 1 any quicker than O is. We hired Joe Brady to revamp the passing game. Now let's see if O changes his MENTALITY on offense, particularly late in games. If he does, we can get that elusive 11 & 1 and earn a playoff berth.

all coaches will be under review for under performance in a way we have never seen. O doesn’t give a care since dumbass extended him.

do we get Jimbo for the 2020 season?

Ed O is our coach and will be our coach as long as the team is progressing/competing for the SEC and NC.

Now that we have Scott on board, do we get Jimbo for the 2020 season? Will the big money flow in to make it happen?

It is just simply amazing! So far Coach O has exceeded everyone’s expectation! We have a real chance with the talent and depth we have at all positions to actually win an SEC championship for the first time since 2011. We also have the number 2 recruiting class in the nation and 2020’s class is looking the same as 2019. Coach O has made some fantastic hires Brady, Bush just to make two.

And your dumbass is pining for Fisher who is locked into A&M with a guaranteed contract which means the only way Fisher is leaving is if they run him off!!!

Hey dumbshit, Fisher is at A&M for at least another 3 years MINIMUM with the record he had last year! You must be the pride and joy of your parents being so fricking stupid! Just be happy that our coach is working out better than anyone thought and LSU is spending no where near what A&M is spending!

O doesnt deserve to be fired at this point. No need whatsoever to start this thread. He deserves this season and I think it'll be a good one.

We have a coach. He is doing a good job.

Jimbo is not worth 7.5 million per year.

When LSU kicks A&Ms arse this year will you Jimbo lovers finally stfu?

As long as O wins 10+ games each year going forward, he’ll have this job as long as he wants it.

10 wins and no SECCG in the next 2 years gets him a pink slip.

10 wins this coming year

Georgia Southern
Northwestern State
Utah State
all wins, for the two losses, which teams would you "be okay" with and still think 10 wins was a great thing?

1 loss to Alabama could keep LSU out of SECCG.

Jimbo will be our coach starting with the 2021 season. It is inevitable at this point.

General rule of thumb in the current era of LSU football:

10 regular season wins each year guarantees any LSU Head Coach keeps his job for at least the next year.

9 wins gets hairier depending on schedule, what we did the year before, who the losses are to, if the 9 wins put us in a NY6 game or not.

8 regular season wins automatically puts an LSU head coach on the hot seat either immediately or could certainly get an LSU fired.

7 wins or less gets you fired unless the previous season brought a title.
