Ott and songy only have to sell ads, as long as they do that they can have dead air for 3 hours and 1210 won't give a damn. I honestly haven't listened to any 1210 in a while. Those guys are more apathetic than union backed workers.

Too true, but what do you listen to? Sometimes I stream wjox and listen to bama drivel but man there's very little choice

That's my favorite right there. Love em one after the other. And I don't know where all the hate is coming from. I listen to him pretty consistently and have been probably for close to a year. You'd be hard pressed to find someone who packs his shows as much he does with good stuff every day. I think he has some good insight to be honest. And I mean yeah, I don't agree with everything he says, but I mean damn, ya'll act like he's a retard or something. I'd like to see you do better.

I lIke Cowherd more than any of them because his show is organized and flows well. I hate baseball but I don't change the channel if they talk about it.
Once Matt starts talking about stuff he clearly is just reading, I hitthe CD players. No other talk shows are even worth trying so I'll give him that. But sometimes he just has no clue. When he was at 1210 he stated over and over that he doesn't care about recruiting. Now he tries to be in the know by using bayoubengalinsiders. Doing his job I know but when I know more than the host of a show that can be heard worldwide, I can't listen anymore. It's fine to disagree but don't pretend to know stuff.
I get tired of him defending himself for doing prepwork or how long he has been a Saints fan. Don't care.

1a. Paul Finebaum Show: I couldn't stand him in the beginning and it's always mostly about Alabama and Auburn but his callers are one of a kind and he isn't scared of what any university thinks unlike our hosts and he will call out his guests without hesitating. Very entertaining. I stream him on my phone while traveling with work.
1b. Scone Man 104.5: He is all I use to listen to but I believe he holds back and won't speak his true opinion sometimes because he may offend the big wigs. That's where I lose him sometimes and go ahead and branch out the area. When he's talking LSU footbal I stay and listen. If he's on another subject I go to Paul. Paul is 100% football and mainly SEC. Matt needs to bring controversial guests in and spark his honest opinion and not worry one bit about anything
LSU or the people above him thinks. That will keep people tuned in. He may already be doing that from his point of view but I think all the local hosts are scared LSU will blackball them. He doesn't have to be a genius on sports knowledge. He knows enough. Very informative. He is the only local host I can listen too and not want to throw up after 10 minutes.

I'm pretty sure Scone posts here or at the very least reads the post here. There have been a few times when I heard him say something on the radio that was word for word what was said in a post here on the rant.
