The problem is it’s the other pitches if he can’t land those you have no chance when you throw it down the pipe!

Please explain. If he can’t locate his FB there is absolutely no reason to ever swing at his CB. He’s an over the top thrower with a great 12/6 CB but SEC hitters have no reason to swing at his CB because he can’t locate the FB. By the way he doesn’t locate the CB either so WTF are they going to swing at?

Now that I read it again WTF are his other pitches you are talking about? He throws a FB and CB. Neither of which he controls.

You don't know if he is ready unless you throw him out there. No pun intended

I'm sure his confidence is shaken right now. He may be able to throw a baseball unlike most kids his age, but he's still a kid, pitching in a tough situation against a top 10 team on the road.

They need to keep working him during the week, but also using him during the SEC games in better situations for him. Once he has a couple of good outings in those weekends, he'll be much better. If he's got that dawg mentality, it will show and he'll be fine.

True. He’s not playing Parkview at this point.

If he is going to be used as a reliever he should only start innings. Coming in with someone on seems to frick him up.

He was not ready for that situation. That was an awful call by Jay.

You don't find out if he can handle it without throwing him out there. My issue is why didn't Jay have someone already warmed and ready so he could give the quick hook.

The problem right now is who of our relievers actually are ready for SEC play? Our starters don't go particularly deep into games and the relievers outside of Cowan have been inconsistent.

Obviously there's time for guys to step up and get together but right now i have no clue who I'd trust coming out of the pen right now.

Eyanson shouldn’t be a starter either. He can’t get past the 4th inning. Cowan needs to start weekends.

This just tells you how special Alex Lange was. Looked like a 4 year all American his freshman year.
