This was during the draft process. Both Adam Caplan and Adam Schefter said teams viewed him as a 1st round talent, but he interviewed poorly. Telling assistant coaches during interviews he's Sonic.

I respect and understand what he's saying here.
Maybe Adam Schefter is being a douche..
But the way he presented it...
Sam was just saying he was "Sonic" without the perspective.

He's honest. Sonic means a lot to him for obvious reasons. And the comment about not trying as hard, that's true too. Saw it this past weekend.
