SCENARIO: We win out, get hosed on SECCG, and...

We win out so impressively, including against Bama, that we are awarded a spot in the playoffs anyway.
Yeah, I know it is a long shot, but "turning the page" from disgust to optimism is the only productive thing to do right now..
It is possible...likelihood is low, but it is possible.
Just think how much motivation LSU and Coach O have NOW...Coach O to earn the job, and the entire LSU nation to be motivated to overcome this Sankey-Foley collusion.

Nonsense. Florida's success in getting that game canceled made it virtually impossible for LSU to get to the SECCG, even if it were to win out. The best the Tigers can do is 6-1. Someone will finish 7-1.
All I hope for now is that Florida with its candya@@ remaining schedule win out and get POUNDED in the championship game.

We won a national championship with 2 losses in the BCS era when only 2 teams got a shot at it. ANYTHING is possible.

Without winning the Sec, we will not be in any position to make playoffs unless every conference winner has 2 losses.

We won't be there even if we win out. Someone in the West, probably Bama or A&M, will be 7-1.

The SEC Championship game needs to be moved to 12/10, the SEC office needs to make this right.

You guys are not being reasonable. If we KILL everyone, which is admittedly not likely, but is possible, we could definitely get in...Especially when the committee would consider 1) Bama getting lucky (if we beat them, but they go to SECCG, not by merit, but by circumstances) and 2) that they got a re-match against us in 2011...

No way we make it to the play off. Even with the seccg. We're not even ranked. I guess anything is possible but I don't see it happening. However running the table and an sec plus SB championship would be nice

Actually, the scenario that would make everyone melt is that LSU-Florida end up playing each other in Atlanta for SECCG and Alabama is granted a bye and free pass to the playoffs at 11-1.
