PFF just reported earlier that the Fresno St kid withdrew from the portal and is staying. Something about possible eligibility issues if he left for Washington.

Could be. Scarborough also said because Coach Kelly is retaining LSU’s Oline coach Brad Davis, that Kelly already has his OC who would have approved it.

He was better last year when he helped LSU salvage what looked like a sure 3-7 season. Then again, he had Peetz, a first-time OC who could barely get the plays called in time this year rolling him out to the right and taking the best WRs out on 3rd downs at times just because he had personnel sets that he insisted on sticking with. I'm surprised Max's numbers ended up being as solid as they were with that kind of assistance.

Maybe Kelly doesn't want *him*. Maybe BK looked at Max's tape and concluded that he just doesn't have it.
People always think it's the QB running away from competition. With the transfer portal it's easier than ever for a new coach to bring in a QB that's going to make an impact.

Did you see max had a press conference to discuss his transferring options ? It lasted 3 hours , he wouldn’t let go of the microphone.
