Were those teams on the schedule when the season began and LSU was picked to win 6 games and finish at the bottom of the West or were they not?

Anyone disregarding a three game losing streak isn't worth paying attention to.
9 games is good based off beginning of season. 9 games is bad prior to a&m.

At the beginning of the year, sure. But Losing to A&M in the fashion we did with everything that was on the line is extremely disappointing.
No shame losing to UGA.
I'm indifferent on winning an essentially meaningless bowl game, but that would be a bitter way to end a season that for 11 games was quite magical.
ETA: In no way am I complaining about winning 9 games this year. That is absolutely an accomplishment that should be celebrated given where we were one year ago.

We were supposed to finish last and maybe be bowl eligible. We won the west, made it to the secg as a patched up team losing to a team that went undefeated. We had a ranking at #5 at one point. This all in year 1 of a rebuild. I will be thankful we are ahead of where we thought we would be.

My pre season prediction was 5-6. Thought we would be lucky to get that after the FSU game. So, I wont melt much. 3.75. , I'm expecting our 10th win.

A loss of the bowl game would just cause me to melt very slightly. My melt came after the aTm game.

For me, it wouldn't be the record. It would be the fact that we lost 3 straight. There won't be a melt, but it would feel like landing a plane with no landing gear. We landed safely, but it wasn't pretty. How we start the year with recruiting and the portal is definitely more important though.
