Compared to Crowton, I'd be cool with my dog calling the plays.

6 (would be higher, but I think Les will take the reigns).

3.5 (for comparison, Krags was a 2)

Krags being on staff still helps my confidence. Between Krags, Miles, and Stud.. all three with OC experience -- we're fine.

2 - Stud has had success play calling before so it shouldn't be a problem now.

im kind of looking forward to seeing what he brings, from hearing him talk it seems like he may actually have some balls.

maybe instead of letting JJ ruin a game he will feature some of our guys that have actually proven to make plays

6...don't feel good about it but still hold on to hope.

Stud directing our offense makes me think of Addazio directing the Gator offense. Billy G has to notice that he has now been passed over for OC in favor of not one but two OL coaches.

What makes any of you think SK isn't going to be calling the plays?

Under Miles, the entire offensive staff has input in the weekly game plan. Therefore, the most significant change in the coaching shuffle involves play-calling. Studrawa takes over that role from Kragthorpe.

"It's exciting to call plays," Studrawa said. "We've got a lot of great football minds in our (offensive meeting) room. All of those coaches will contribute. If we prepare well, I hope all five offensive assistants are seeing the same thing on game day."

Yes but...
1. SK was hired to be the OC
2. SK is still with the team
3. SK will still be in the press box
4. SK's disease is mainly a physical thing right now.
5. Coach Les Miles has stated the they will both be in the press box basically in case down the road SK get worse or something comes up.

Sounds like Stud is in training to me... just in case.

I've always thought that Kragthorpe lost the official tag of Offenseive Coord, the press conferences, interviews, and sole exclusive position - but retained everything else. That's the impression I have.

In other words, Stud is more than capable of taking over and is involved in the playcalling but for all intents and purposes, Krag is still doing it behind the scenes with the cameras (and pressure) off of him, at a much more casual rate.

QB execution is of much greater importance than what play is called....having said that the offense by committee which is what it's always been since Miles has been here I'd give it a 3!

And the scale is backwards from a typical scale.
