Brett Favre: He holds the NFL record with 336 career interceptions and led the league in picks multiple times. He still won three straight MVPs (1995-97) and Super Bowl XXXI.
George Blanda: He threw 277 career interceptions, including 42 in 1962, a pro football record. He also won two AFL titles with Houston and played until he was 48.
Terry Bradshaw: He finished with about as many interceptions (210) as touchdowns (212) and still won four Super Bowls, because he had great defenses and a strong run game behind him.
Joe Namath: He threw 173 touchdowns against 220 interceptions in his career, but he’s famous for the Super Bowl III win over the Colts.
Eli Manning: He threw 244 career interceptions and led the league with 25 in 2010. He won two Super Bowls and was MVP of both.
Peyton Manning: He had 251 career interceptions, and his numbers are far better relative to his attempts than the others on this list. He also won two Super Bowls and five MVPs.

Johnny Manziel (Texas A&M): He won the 2012 Heisman as a freshman with only 9 interceptions, then threw about 13 in 2013 while still putting up over 4,000 passing yards and 37 touchdowns. He was a high-risk, improvising passer.
Jameis Winston (Florida State): He won the 2013 Heisman and the national title with about 10 interceptions. In 2014 he threw about 18, and FSU still went undefeated in the regular season. He’s the clearest case of picks and wins going together.
Case Keenum (Houston): He is the all-time FBS leader in career passing yards and touchdowns. He threw plenty of interceptions, including nearly 20 in his huge 2011 season, because Houston’s offense passed constantly.
Sam Darnold (USC): He threw about 13 interceptions in 2017 while leading USC to a Pac-12 title.
Patrick Mahomes (Texas Tech): He threw about 15 interceptions in 2015, then cut that to roughly 10 in 2016 with 41 touchdowns and over 5,000 yards, which showed the upside of his style

I’m sure Sam will appreciate that

I agree. I can live with the occasional interception when he’s trying to thread the needle or when it’s an accidental overthrow. But carrying the ball like a sack of potatoes when he runs, or a lame arse jump throw with three people weighing 300 pounds trying to drag you down is just dumb quarterbacking.
