I'd burn it down. Like burning an aged American Flag.

eta: Jesus christ with the downvotes. isn't burning an american flag the proper and respectful way to dispose of it once it's become unusable?

Fine. As long as this allows us to compete at will in the coaching market, I’m fine with it.

Other than a logo somewhere on it and TV announcers saying it during broadcast, literally no one will call it anything other than Tiger Stadium or Death Valley.

Why are people under the impression that we need to take out a loan to pay for Aranda's new contract?

We have one of the largest athletic budgets in the country and have always had the money.

The difference is that we were finally willing to spend it. Hopefully we do the same for an offensive coordinator.

Scary times though with the issue of not writing off the ticket purchase and things like that.....

If Verizon turns Tiger Stadium into a massive cell tower for gameday and I will allow it.

With our fan base it has to be one of us.

Therefore...

Orgeron Field at Boudreaux's Butt Paste Tiger Stadium

Because when we finish comin' you'll need it.

You pay your figurehead coach 3 million instead of market rate. That's how you pay Aranda.

We already shelled out for the OC. People are under the impression that the program isn't doing so hot, so those with the checkbooks are not throwing money right now. They might throw money to change things up, but not to prop up what they've been seeing.

Yes, we desperately need the extra cash to cover this. We gave the guy an extra $600k. The AD earns well over $140 Million dollars a year, and nets 10-12M in profit. That's excluding TAF doantions/earnings.

The proper and respectful way to retire an American flag is to separate the field of stars from the stripes, and then separate the stripes into two separately colored groups before burning the three parts one at a time, not all together. And it is imperative to use a couple people to do this as the flag should never touch the ground.

You'd have probably avoided the downvotes if you'd not skipped straight to the final step.

Yes, but only as long as the "ceremony" is performed by the correct (approved) people or organization and is done as per a certain protocol.

As described above. I know Boy Scouts of America are allowed to properly dispose of a flag and I believe the Marines..not sure on that one...may be any/all of the armed forces.
