I met and had a conversation with Tyron in Stillwater the year after he transferred there. He really seemed to be a genuinely good kid who was doing what he felt was right after what he called, and I directly quote, "a rift in Coach Miles' staff".

I do feel bad for him. He never reached his potential but i truly do feel that he'd have developed late like many other LSU stars do, had he stuck around. It's on him yes, but I'd bet a paycheck that he has his regrets about leaving us only to sink into obscurity at Okie State, based on our brief conversation.

Then, I thought the Redskins would pick him with the third to last pick in the draft because they just got Landon Collins and figured he might be able to watch over his brother. In the end, I wouldn't doubt if some teams agreed to shut him out of the draft.

ended up with the Ravens, so honestly, that could still be the case off the field. practice facilities are only 3 hours apart. they probably end up spending a lot of time together.

Glad Smith was drafted.

The way that guy acted against LSU was insane. I wanted him to fail worse than any other Bama players this year.

Solid post.

I’m still a believer. I think he’d have been really, really good had he stayed, but I completely understand why he left. I’m still a fan and hope he has a career in the league.

Savion and Willis can eat a bag of dicks. Willis is good enough that he’ll be a solid player, except for the tens of thousands of dollars in fines and inevitable suspensions. We might not hear much more about Savion. Had lots of potential—he was playing at LSU as a true frosh, after all—but I think he’s gonna have a tough time breaking into a 53 man roster.

If Gerald Willis keeps his head on straight, he's going to be a good player in the NFL. I'd take a flyer on him if I was an organization for sure.

That's a big "IF" though.

Savion Smith is overrated and faked an injury in the national title game after getting burned. There isn't much coming back from that

What's crazy is Willis, Smith, Johnson and Ferguson all had good to GREAT seasons on top of that.

Ferguson predictably made FCS a laughing stock, but he also tore up Texas A&M when NWST played them this past year.

Willis absolutely tore shite up this year, he made our day living hell when we played him.

Smith certainly had a solid season as a starter at CB for Alabama, not super elite, but Top 10 CB in SEC easily.

Johnson finally broke out at Ok St a bit and had just under 900 yards and 7 TD.

Ehhhh. He made tons of boneheaded mistakes that Saban would tear him a new one over.

I honestly haven't looked at their stats, but I didn't see him as a top 10 SEC CB. There are a lot of good CBs in this league.
