Our leaders in sacks are
1. Delpit
2. Divinity
3. Logan ties with White
3 non DL/edge players
Aranda just doesn’t blitz 9 at once and pray they get there before our 2 guys in coverage are fricked.
The issue really has been 1. No edge rush 2. Not a great pass rush from the DL 3 predictability pass rushing white, which you can blame on Aranda.

The OP was about defense so this why the topic is biased towards defense.
I think everybody has been hard on the offense, and deservedly so. There is no doubt that if the offense could've put more drives together and get more points on the board it would've helped the D.
But you can't blame it all on offense when the D certainly had issues. Those issues would've been covered up had a offense produced more points.
But looking at defense on a game by game basis, it is clear our DL was not very good and the run D was bad.

38th best in the nation. Not elite, but certainly not "bad." If the offense did anything that "bad," we are likely undefeated.

That's the difference between you and I. I came into the season thinking the depth had improved on both sides of the ball. After 4 or 5 games it became apparent that wasn't the case
I'm assuming that you're about to point out that you can't change your opinion especially after the benefit of seeing them play a season worth of games. Or are you just a phenomenal hypocrite.

If you had changed your opinion before we started losing, maybe. But that's not what you did. You used your change of opinion to shift blame from the coaching staff. You're a pathetic weasel.
