Oita Trinita is my favorite Japanese League soccer team. With that logic, maybe I’ll just assume he was paying homage to them after their great season and after their return to the J1 league because he confused Trinita and trilogy

Thanks to coach O, he brought in Burrow and mentioning Brady would have been the correct third. Woodward stepped into the job with everything intact and really had little or not much to do with this season. Give him credit in a few years for not screwing up a well oiled machine.
I for one do appreciate our new AD and glad we have moved away from Alleva, it was time. Now our fans have a taste for winning championships the big question is if the program slips or slides to a few losses will we act like idiots and call for the coaches head and then Woodward will be in the picture trying to please the fans and well healed alumni.

It aggravates me the way Woodward is revered. He hasn’t done shite, except hire Jimbo Fisher. He might be a great guy, and I’m happy Alleva is gone, but why is Woodward being lionized?

It’s a combination of him being “one of us,” nuking the A&M football program for the next decade and the prospect of what LSU athletics can accomplish with a competent AD. I think the other part of it is that he’s not Joe Alleva
I have no opinion on whether or not it’s justified as of now.

It's onions, celery, and bell pepper. If you throw in garlic, it's the Holy Quartet. But it is kind of funny that someone would be okay with calling three vegetables the Holy Trinity but not three people.
To the OP, I would be careful about including Woody. If he fails to hold onto Joe Brady the fickle fans on this board will be calling him The Great Satan.
