Can’t put all the blame on him. The offensive line allowed 18 pressures, lane punted on 4th and 1, defense went soft coverage and allowed that game to go to OT.
Everyone has to wear that loss

You’re full of it. He wasn’t responsible for many of the things that happened in that game. How many points did KY score on turnovers?? How many dropped passes? How many missed tackles? How many pressures did he have on him? Don’t forget the no way to get around it, 16 direct points given to KY by the officiating crew.

No, unfortunately Lane lost the KY game for not attempting to gain a half yard to seal the game. Probably the first time in his coaching career that he didn’t go for it in a situation like that. I’m just delighted it could be LSU he made that conservative decision with and lost.
