will throw fists over people trying to trash Sage. He’s constantly been asked to play out of position. Yet, he’s stayed committed to the purple and gold. He could’ve easily transferred somewhere else and could be starting at safety.

Hes tried every position out there as db!. He excelled at NONE.
They even let him diddle a bit on offense.
Some kids are so highly tanked and so good in HS, because they hit their peak early..
Just maybe, he isn't getting any better.
And exactly where, in the top.schools, would he be "starting at safety"?

Sage is garbage on defense. “Throwing fists” and trying to act hard is another reason we lost the game. Players will never learn but I blame that on the coaches.

Not even close. Stamps played far better and graded much higher. Woodland graded higher as a true freshman in his first game. Zy is much better and hopefully will be back in a few games.

He's pretty bad relative to this level.of competition. He a good football player. SEC top tier? No....

That's what we all want and expect so it's totally acceptable to want to see whats behind him. Time has run it's course. Play a talented freshman who will learn on the fly

Wish he would’ve stayed in the portal

If Zy Alexander hadn’t been injured, I think the staff would have let him walk.

Gilbert should be gone after that targeting. It might wake up those who might be sleeping. He has been used as a textbook example of what not to do.

Gilbert is an even bigger liability than Ryan, and that's saying something. I hope they let the young guys start getting some experience after the season really goes tits up, but that's probably wishful thinking.

A ton of true freshmen played last night. Woodland, Reliford, Breaux and Green all played meaningful snaps, not just special teams.

I guess we'll never know if he really is/was a five star safety because he's never had the chance to play safety at LSU. I feel bad for the guy. He might actually be a great safety.
