There is always something to learn from.

But at least we wouldn't have gone blindly into playing FSU and we would have had some film on them. There is that little edge. Not that it would have mattered, everyone in the country knows the blueprint for LSU now.

Eh, its basically a live scrimmage against an inferior opponent. The coaches can learn what guys can make/miss their assignments on any given play. Its not always dominating your opponent in these games. They grade each player and learn whos ready for more opportunities and who's not.

GSU Right Tackle is listed at 6'3 252

GSU DLine goes 6'3 205, 6'3 215, 6'4 258 and 6'5 252
Since you aren't brave enough to even insult the players using their names or numbers....some of these guys dont travel with the team you're just reading a roster. But we are well aware of lack of size in the trenches.

For what its worth Grambling's RT is Shontrail Key( 6'5/ 295 & one of only 2 OL under 300 ibs (LT listed as 295 as well) . The only DL I may recognize is Javon Carter at 6'4 260 ( from East Ascension).

Good luck to LSU & here's to everyone being safe.

The southern game last year was the worst quality college football team I have ever seen.

Get over yourselves. We aren't thrilled about these games either. Finally inviting us for " historic " matchups....(roll eyes)

Shadeur Sanders who actually plays at a high level isn't as insulting & sees little difference outside of Line play. Sanders, Hunter & 6 of his ex SWAC teammates couldn't win the Celebration Bowl
7 months ago are now being slurped for the The Heisman. They see little differences in general outside of Line play. Yes we get outmanned in the trenches , but there are some good young athletes out there.

The southern game was 44-0 in the first quarter man, not the first half, the first quarter. I’m sorry, it’s a worthless game for both programs

Doesn’t mean there aren’t legit nfl players that come through it. But they shouldn’t be playing each other

I'm hoping to see all three freshman WRs play like they want some minutes.

We already learned a lot about them this year. They're the same team as last which means the same team that got figured out by the back end of last season and exposed.

Expect regression this season. Bad coaching. None of the players last year showed any progression.

Once again, Nuss will never learn or improve but Daniel’s shortcomings just need more coaching and he’ll be awesome. You people are such hypocrites.

the Stadium. Frick that! Play this game in Week 0 though. Week 0 "Great Visiting Band" warm up games: Southern. Grambling. Southern Miss. Troy State. JACKSONVILLE STATE!

How about no. The team gets no experience against a useful opponent or meaningful reps.

It’s only so old dumbasses like you can pretend to like the black bands and be cool.
