Sadly, Brennan's injury may signal end of his LSU career

First, let me say that I think Brennan is a great kid and a wonderful representative for LSU and my heart goes out to him and his family for having to deal with another injury. With that being said, however, we all know that college football is all about winning, whether we like it or not.

The reality is if Max goes out and plays well and we win, I don't see how O could re-open the qb position once Brennan is recovered. The last thing the team would need at that point is to disrupt the flow, especially at the most important position on the field.

I hate to say it, but I think we may have seen the last of Brennan in terms of ever becoming the starting QB at LSU. Whether he decides to stay at LSU or move on, I wish him the best because he has represented LSU in a first class manner! The first few weeks of the season will be very telling about who will lead the team for this season and most likely next season also.

He should transfer to Baylor and play under Aranda and Grimes

I wouldn't count that out, or ride over to Texas and play for Sark. I just hope he has a successful career wherever he lands. Who knows Max may go down and he may get a second chance, after all.

He’s better than Johnson and has two years eligibility remaining. He could certainly challenge.

He won’t be going anywhere between now and the start of the season. So what happens if Max gets hurt in week 6?

Even if Max plays well, QB's get hurt all the time. Myles can still very much see impact playing time and I hope he's back and healthy to provide some meaningful depth and experience at a position where we badly need it.

If I were Myles, I would heel and rehabilitate my arm and my body for the remainder of the season to qualify for a medical redshirt. Then I would transfer in 2022 to Ole Miss and Lane Kiffin with two years of eligibility.

Why even post this. There are a lot of things people think but they don’t post it because it’s obvious, been posted already or just stupid. I think your post may hit all 3.

I told everyone Myles would get hurt, I am sorry to say I was right. He just doesn't have a SEC body.

I don’t agree with that.

I think Max has shown much more poise in the pocket than Brennan.

Myles is better. Your football iq just isn't very good. You see a qb run around successfully a few times and thinks he's special. Max can't read defenses very well and his accuracy isn't proven yet. Max ran often bc he was unsure where to throw the ball or lead the receivers.

No, fools. He is the most loyal, patient, honorable Tiger Athlete I've ever seen, and will decide what's best for his team and himself, like Matt Flynn.

You are underestimating what Myles Brennan will do when he’s able to get back on the field. He is a fighter and will be back better than ever.

I hope he makes a full recovery and is back soon, but the reality is if Max is playing well and we're winning, O has no choice by to ride with him. Not criticizing Brennan, just stating the facts.

Myles will be back by the 8th game of the season as a reserve QB.
