Serna would be a better defensive option at this point

Too bad Serna couldnt hit .300 if they were throwing him a softball

Hopefully, he can stay in it. That’s the kind of stuff that got him really rattled last year.

Heading to the Bottom of the 3rd. Simpson, Harden, Milam due up for LSU.

Timothy still on the mound for Sac State at 32 pitches.

Sac State leads 2-0

Incredible as it may seem... you just saw the most unconventional play in all baseball -- the dreaded RBI strikeout!

Has to be pretty incredible for Sac St kids to come in here and realize they are just as good as this particular LSU team at this particular point in the season.

I'd love to see Jay's challenged calls record. I'm thinking he's batting about .350...

The league success rate was like 30% last year, as in calls were upheld around 70% of the time, so yeah he’s prob around that number

Because he’s not a very good catcher

Arrambide was rated the No. 1 high school catcher by MLB.com and named the 2024 Texas Gatorade Player of the Year. Not sure what is going on with him since he got to LSU.

He was rated that high because of his bat

That's interesting and makes sense.

The challenge is probably just a shot at seeing if they can save a run, but also disrupting the momentum/settling them down.

Yeah, it's almost comical the number of people that come on here shitting on and questioning the man that has won two of the last three National Championships - like they know more about baseball than he does.
I think he's earned the right to challenge whatever the frick he wants to.

I have complete faith that this team will come back and win by at least 5. And by faith I mean bourbon.

THX for the bpb Coop.

As always the pussies are out early this evening.

They don't have the balls to enjoy baseball.
