This is what scares me about Moore against SEC lineups. His limited velocity gives him less room for error and he can’t afford to not have command of his changeup, fastball, AND cutter. If he doesn’t have any of them early on, he’s probably gonna get chased early.
I’m not saying he won’t be successful in SEC play. Just that on days he doesn’t have it, he’s probably gonna get run early. And I’d hate to have to go to the pen in the 2nd or 3rd inning of Game 2.
