Nick Saban took over an LSU football program that had gone 7-15 the two previous seasons with just three conference wins. In introducing himself to the team, he said, "I can tell you this -- the guys who need improvement, we won't let them down." Deion Sanders was all about himself when he arrived in Boulder. "I'm coming and when I get here, there is going to be change. I want you to get ready to go ahead and jump into the portal and do whatever you're going to do because the more of you that you jump in, the more room we're going to have." Few of the players in the room remained as Sanders has brought in 73 transfers. Saban had a unparalleled success with his approach to recruiting at LSU and Alabama. Only time will tell is Coach Prime creates success or chaos.

Sanders is going to miserably fail at Colorado.

Nick Saban's coaching ability is comparable to Deion Sanders skill at CB and the reverse is true too.

I don't know, I think Saban was a CB

University of Arizona just made things a tad easier for Coach Prime.

They both played DB, and they're on AFLAC commercials. That's about it.

Deion Sanders was a beast as a cornerback and returner. He is completely unproven as a coach.

He was soft as frick, wouldn’t deliver a hit for any team he played on. Hell of a cover guy and baseball player though.

Sanders did exactly what Saban did. Told unwanted players to kick rocks, brought in transfers and paid players! Only difference is Sanders was open, loud and legal with his. Saban was the opposite on those things.

You think the new look B12 is out of reach for Colorado? It’s not!
