I remember last year when he was supposedly hurt.

And he did this:

The TightRope system anchors the ends of the tibia and fibula together with a braided polyethylene cord, rather than with a rigid surgical screw, to restore the original position of the bones and to allow for proper healing.

In the link, there is a short video that very clearly details the surgical procedure. Calls for 6 to 12 weeks before patient can bear weight on the ankle. I guess THAT's what painkillers are for? Right, Nicky?

Great short video by an orthopedic institute - worth watching

Bama fans are adamant that LSU is not a rival, but Bama sure does plan an awful lot of their season around the LSU game every year.

Anyone watch the video? Says 6 to 12 weeks for weight bearing. But Saban will put him out there anyway.

I think Tua suffered a injury, but Saban may not be fully forthcoming about the severity.

He had a procedure...if Terrace Marshall had surgery on a pinky toe and had been out for over a month...I don’t see how he’s back for the LSU game in three weeks. If he is, he’ll have hardly practiced.

Tua’s ankle is hurt like last year. Guess Delpit will be ejected for targeting against Auburn (a la D White) to even things out for the game on 11/9

Fake news! If he is back by LSU and isn't severely hobbled than this is a lie.

Same procedure last year after SEC Championship.

He practiced at two weeks and at 28 days said he was 80-85%.

Saban is giving the media what they want to hear. He’s not divulging what he truly knows about the injury.
