that year still felt like a disappointment, I wanted to think we were on the brink of starting a big run, maybe a dynasty, but I got the sense that that staff was just going through the motions that year

and had saban returned we prolly wins a natty in 2005? 2006, 2007, and on and on. NFW saban loses to tenner like miles did. as far as SECCG who knows. but it was possible.

On the flip side, they should have lost to Oregon State, but their kicker forgot how to kick.

I believe we're only talking about college sports that matter.

It all started about half way through the 2004 season when he started flirting with Chicago Bears…

His legacy? Is this serious? He won a Natty after approximately 17,000 years without one.

Everyone knows he’s the goat. But I’ll never understand why this board has to fan boi over a guy that literally left us hanging, then joined our rival and pushed our shite into the dirt for over a decade. Respect is one thing but y’all put him ahead of the lsu like we aren’t elite in our own right. LSU catapulted his career. And he easily could’ve won more championships had he never left.

TLDR: frick saban. respectfully

His legacy is winning an SEC and National title at LSU in 5 short seasons after inheriting a dumpster fire and also creating the infrastructure that’s led to LSUs success ever since.
