Bowls record should not count as bye weeks, IMO.

He is 7-3 during his LSU/UA tenures.

Is this really going to have a bearing on the game whatsoever?

That's fine ... honestly, I'm not going to look it up but during his career I wonder what his record is after a bye week ...

I think a rested Bama team will lose by fewer points

-the bluegrass miracle game over a 7-5 UK team
-a win over a 4-9 Bama team
-a 4 point home win over a mighty 7-5 Troy team
-the 2004 home win over a 6-6 Bama which all Bama fans claim only happened because Corey Webster got away with pass interfence in the endzone
LINK

NOTABLE LOSSES

-a home loss to a Ron Zook UF team with a true frosh QB
-a loss to a 6-6 Arkansas team
-a home loss to Les Miles

any Bama fan complaining about the officials go go F' themselves.

They could be on the short end of calls for the next 10 years and it would never make up for the shite they've benefited from.

In the interest of completeness, Saban's record after bye weeks at Michigan State, 3-5, including a win over Ohio State in 99, and a loss to UL (the real one) in 96.

1995: L - Penn State

1996:
L - Louisville
L - Penn State

1997:
W - Minnesota
W - Illinois

1998:
L - Michigan
L - Minnesota

1999: W - Ohio State

These stats tell me that we could either win or lose.

Thanks.

He's 5-4 after byes since 2000.
2000- LSU had 2 byes (not sure why).
30-28 W Bama
3-14 L Arkansas

2001- 2 byes again, because of 9/11
18-26 L Tenn
41-38 W Arkansas

2002
33-30 W Kentucky

2003
7-19 L Florida

2004
24-20 W Troy

2007
34-41 L LSU

2008
24-20 W Ole Miss

Is pretty interesting that he's barely above .500 with wins by 2, 3, 3, 4, and 4.
