In your mind Miles had a great year of coaching and LSU was just unlucky to get the breaks other teams did.

His decision making is his best attribute imo.

Haven't seen enough of Miller personally, but if this is true, it's truly the missing link to a Natty for LSU.

"ryan Clark"

Next DC?

Can he fly or does he take a Madden bus to out of town games?

Said on Mike & Mike, talking about OSU having so many QB's & won't be able to keep all three: Ya know I'm an LSU guy, OSU's 3rd string QB is better than ours, we always need a QB. So come on down Braxton

What I will never understand is why they continue to recruit shotgun, spread QBs then put them under center in the I formation.

It's because LSU wants the athleticism of a dual threat qb that can also be a drop back passer. The playbook opens up significantly if this type of qb is in place. The problem is finding a guy that has the football iq, aggressiveness, and competitiveness required to fully maximize the system. Jennings doesn't have it, Harris is on his way but not there yet. A qb like Braxton, Jameis, etc would thrive in this system.

it's not the QB.. it's the coaching!

Agree. Chavis is gone so we're good, right? You do realize that 2013's losses had little to do with play calling and everything to do with defense and Mett losing his mind at Ole Miss.

It is all about the QB for LSU. Right now, everything is riding on LSU having good QB play next year.

Braxton Miller can run the toss dive better than any QB we have ever had. It is just what we have been missing. The play calling has been correct the whole time, we just needed someone like Braxton Miller to run the toss dive correctly.

Actually the offense wasn't the problem with Mett at QB. The defense was the problem.

Having a seasoned QB playing next year and allowing Harris another year to learn cams offense seems like a win win.

Since we have a RB like fournette why would we need to pass 25 times a game. When defenses started stacking the box then yes we would need to pass more to open up the running game.

OSU last night relied on the running game to pound Oregon but yes they could and did pass when needed.

It's pretty simple run the ball with passing sprinkled in until teams start stacking the box then you go over the top to get them back into a basic defensive formation.

On defense hit anything that tries to catch the ball or cross the line of scrimmage.

A Miller/Fournette rush attack would be difficult to defend. He's also a better passer than anything we have(as far as us fans know),
Passing. What passing? We don't need no passing.

Just put Miller in at QB with Fournette, Guice and a FB. Geaux full retro Wishbone/Triple Option/Paul Johnson Offense..........
