Les knows Braxton will make a fine backup for Jennings.

What I will never understand is why they continue to recruit shotgun, spread QBs then put them under center in the I formation.

Sometimes with Miles and Payton, I feel they would rather be right than successful. Egos are too big and it blinds them at times.

He would never see the field. We have too much evidence to support this already.

This offense would be lethal with the athletes we have with Braxton at QB next year.

IF Miles opens up the playbook for him... It would be sad for him to come here and see the same TYPE of offense run.... Just a thought..........

I just had a good laugh. Tim Fletcher said "Cardale Jones was down on the field warming up before the game in a suit. He was still throwing the ball better than Anthony Jennings"

Do you remember the $$$$ calls last season and this season . If you liked the JJ years then you are in QB heaven

Would be awesome to have this kid come in and lead us to a playoff run next year. Would be even better if we played Oh St and beat them with Him

he may not be the only one to come down, we may get their DC too...Their OC is on his way to Houston now

So come on down Braxton

It is the only way LSU will get healthy in the QB department quickly is for someone to come in like Mett did.

I am sure it made sense to you, but to those of us who don't knight hard for Miles, it was a bit stupid.

if he did he would only throw about 4 times a game anyway so as long as he could handoff to 5 different RBs a gameand take a snap under center, we should be fine.

SO fricking pathetic....but so damn true.

It's not true. That's what we tried to do this year unsuccessfully. Both the teams in the championship game had serviceable and balanced offenses. Alabama is arguably skewed defensively like us and they got steamrolled by OSU. If LSU continues to hang their hat on excellent defenses, we'll continue to drop at least a couple of games every year until they figure out how to score consistently against decent teams. Bland predictable running games have gone the way of the dodo. It's not 1960 anymore.

Yes you are.... In your mind Miles had a great year of coaching and LSU was just unlucky to get the breaks other teams did.The refs cost both games against MSU and AU... But "Miles just has so many young players" excuse is your fav to use.. Bring Miller in won't help much because Miles will continue to play NOT TO LOSE.......

Sorry but 8-4 looks like the magic # next year. Miller or not.....
