Russell Sheppard -

Is a typical case of a KID thinking he is something he's not. If he had bought in day one as a WR, he would be further advanced as a WR, not struggling to make a team every year. The kid has talent and maybe this will be his break out year.

yep, yep, yep! They did this. They did that. Yet, as I said and anyone watching Shepard at LSU in his career know he played sporadically. You make it sound as if he played all the time. Every game. lol

Russell Shepard would be happy if that were the case. Ask him if that occurred and watch him pimp slap the frick out of you. lol

wouldn't be raw if the kid had been used on the damn field like he should have been. But you are right I am very happy for him fighting his way onto an NFL roster even though he shouldn't have had to work that hard for recognition. Just amazing the amount of talent that still makes NFL rosters despite Miles.

Should have sat whom? OBJ? Juice? Tell us wise one, who should have sat the bench? Idiot!

Honestly, how you hacks support this coachs incompetence,

Did you really just ask how we can support a coach that just gave us lsu's most successful 10 year stretch, EVER?
Did you just ask how we can support a coach that has finished in the top 15 8 out of 10 seasons?
Did you just ask how we can support a coach that has a top 5 win % in sec history and the #1 ooc win % in sec history?

You think he should have gotten more snaps than Reuben Randle, Odell Beckham, Jarvis Landry or even James Wright for that matter? Your perception of Shep's play at LSU is delusional....great athlete who was still learning the position when he left and he's still learning.

What do you not understand about lsu having better rb's than Shep and better wrs than shep?
Shep's route running was atrocious in college and he didn't have good hands.you don't play a lesser productive player just because his he was a 5 star player. He was a 5 star players as a dual threat qb. Not rb or wr.

dude I said scatback. Do you know what that is?? Don't let some other idiot posting that I said Beckham or Landry should have sat for him to play cloud you. Reading comprehension on here is bad I know. Russell Shepard is or was a type of player LSU could have lined up all over the place to get the ball in his hands to make plays. Simple!

but he's learning to play WR in the pros. good for him.

Which WR would you have sat to play Shepard?

Would you sit Randle or OBJ to start Shepard at WR?

He was used sporadically because he was a great change of pace player. He got around 5-10 touches a game for five years. He was never consistent enough to take the ball away from the other playmakers on the team over his career. He was a solid contributor, but not head and shoulders above the WRs that played above him. That's why those guys are stars/starters in the NFL. Glad to see Shep making an impact this preseason and I hope he keeps it up.

I've heard that shite over and over about winning percentage. Stick a damn fork up it!

If everything he did was so horrible. Route running, running out the backfield, hands, etc. Then why is he in the damn NFL??

Man I tell you. lol

I shouldn't have to explain someting so simple, but here goes. There are 11 guys on offense, assuming LSU should not change its identity in order to get a borderline NFL talent on the field, we have five lineman, a TE, two RBs, and a QB on the field for most plays. That leaves two WRs. During Sheps time those two were future NFL all-stars. What I'm asking you is which of these NFL all-stars should have sat the bench so Borderline NFL Shep could get the reps you so desire? Simple enough for you, tubucoco?

Out of respect for Shep, I won't bump the threads where CplBunghole and the other idiots proclaimed that his pro career would finally expose Miles as a fraud...

They did dumbass. He played wr and rb at lsu. He lined up everywhere an offensive skill position players can. Did you even watch the games? Because there is no way you could've watched the games and didn't see Shep line up every where. Backfield, slot, outside

We had a glut of talent at wide receiver. Who was he supposed to be taking touches from? Landry, Beckham, wright? Boone?
