as much as I'd love to see him stay in Louisiana and play for the Saints...the WhoDats would do much better drafting a Tiger from the defensive side of the ball...Minter, Montgomery, Mingo, Simon, Mathieu, Logan. Those guys.

Special team players come a dime a dozen in the NFL. The only way you can stick around on a team by just playing special teams is if you are the PR or KR. He definitely can't be a PR because he can't catch. I doubt he is a difference maker in the KR game because he only returned 2 kicks his entire college career

I'd imagine he was told they wanted him to camp with the Saints. At least make the practice squad. Maybe told him they were interested. At this point, that would be great for Shep.
I'd love for him to earn a spot on the Sants roster, whether it be at receiver or defensive back. I think he could be utilized better in an NFL scheme. Put him into the Saints offense, and he could make some big plays. I truly believe that.

Yeah there's absolutely no reason to draft a defensive player in the late rounds, we need to make our #1 offense better!
