A wild injury as the hit/fall didn't look bad. Kind of one of those things where how you fall matters versus the contact. Almost like tearing Achilles.

Dr Chao is very respected. This was his response to watching the video.

#RussellGage
Hoping the injury is not serious
By video, no worry for paralysis
Also don't see how he was allowed to get up if spinal cord worry
Hope he is OK

First thought was something like a minor spinal shock. Body goes into temporary paralysis, but recovers like nothing happened pretty quickly. Hopefully just a concussion.

Total BS! Cowboys DB clubs him in the back of the neck and NO PENALTY??

dude shutup. it was mild football contact. normal football contact. He did not even accelerate into Gage. It was a non-contact injury. What would the penalty be for? playing defense??

your dumb comment aside, hope Gage is OK.

he hurt his back on his break out of his route. you can laugh if you like. He was returning from a back injury prior to this game. I'm sure the hit didn't help. Anyway, I have no interest in arguing with the rants physician staff

I hate seeing a Tiger get injured as much as anybody, but Come On Man!!

He was going down awkwardly and got hit awkwardly in the normal run of play. They are big fast men and sometimes bad things happen.

If you think it should have been a penalty please link which rule you thinks applies?

Russell is saying on Twitter that he is feeling better, which is good news after watching that last night.

can you read moron? I said he was injured PRIOR to contact. That implies contact was made. thats is a normal football hit drama queen
