Curry needs to stay. He's going to be a good back just needs time.

I think it will be hard to keep Emery and Davis off the field. I like Clyde, but those two guys will be just as good if not better than him.

i would hope so. our rb's are serviceable this year. emery and davis could be stars.

Emery seems like the kind of guy that can play a role similar to kamara with the saints
it's just ensminger's scheme that will prevent this

The question may become, which one can we turn into the next devin white.

Clyde will start off as the starter
Emery is going to likely start as a 2nd option
Curry or Ty Davis will emerge as our bruiser/short yardage back
Reminds me of 2014
Clyde will start like how Magee started
Emery will get touches like how Fournette got touches
Curry and Ty Davis will battle for the bruiser role like how Hilliard and Darrell williams battled

Do you guys think emery and Davis come in as 1&2 on depth chart?
It's rare for freshmen to come in able to handle the grind of the SEC. It requires a physical maturity that most don't have a few months out of high school.
LF had an NFL body when he got here and it took him a while to get going.

Clyde 1
Who knows 2, but we got some good ones

Brossette and CEH have gotten 96% of the carries from our RBs
NB4 56%
CEH 40%
Next year I see
CEH 60%
Curry/Emery/Davis will fight for the rest
We've been lucky not to have any injuries this year at RB. We also don't have a legit 3rd guy to give carries to if we wanted to.
Provens, i could see moving to DB. There was talks of that when he signed. But i do think they have a specific use for him on offense if they want to keep him there.

I think CEH's days are numbered at RB. He just doesn't have the speed or vision to be a great back.
He may not have homerun breakaway speed but he’s got Guice like toughness and rarely goes down on first contact. Also not afraid to hit the hole which is always a concern with young backs stepping up to this level.

I've seen ceh progress as a better, more patient runner. still think he's a good one. the young guys will take time to really get going. they have to learn how to pass protect.
still, we'll start out much more optimistically than we did this year.

It's hard to tell this early. We will know a lot more when they actually sign and get them on campus.

Also CEH could fricking EAT if we ever figure out how to execute a screen.

I'm getting drilled for this, but I think Davis is a potential Bama flip.
Bama will only have 3 RBs next year and only one is a stud (Harris), everyone else leaves.
Bama currently has one RB committed and he's like the #19 RB. I wouldn't be surprised to see Davis flip to Bama.
Downvote away.

Watching Emery highlights, Destrehan has a better screen game than LSU.
