In surprised in the lack of fist fight stories. I used to see so many players get into fights outside of Dublin's, Sports and Fred's.

I taught many athlete at LSU in early-mid 90s.

partied with a shite faces Justin Meier, Clay Dirks, Bruce Sprowl, and some other baseball player at F&M's during the summer of their senior years.
Watched Will Arnold knock some loud mouth douche out in the Tiger Bar parking lot. Then harbored him to safety post fight.
Hung out with Chase Pittman post beating Bama in 2006. That dude was INTENSE.
Played basketball with David Raymer and Reggie Robinson at the UREC. Robinson was damn good.

Kevin Guidry dated a girl in the same dorm my then girlfriend lived in. We used to talk in the lobby waiting for them, and when he found out I was in band he told me how they kept the door to the locker room open to listen to Pregame.

My best story is pretty lame. I was in an english group with Shawn Jordan for a rhetoric class.
ETA: Not my story but a friend of mine used to wait at Ruffino's and he was telling me that while we were recruiting Mettenberger Les brought him to Ruffino's. Well, while they were there Ruffin started taking Mett around to people's tables and telling him "if you sign with LSU all of this can be yours."

played rec ball against Anthony Hickey by coincidence years ago. Our high schools were rivals and he could hang with grown men when he was just a kid.

This to me too. I shook Shaq's hand when I was 10 or 11 and my whole hand didn't even come close to extending outside of his palm. It was unreal.
