If true, best of luck to the young man. No one could have anticipated that TM7 and Claiborne would develop the way they did. Vinson was a good take and very good athlete but just ran up against those guys and 3 physical freaks in Simon, Collins and Jenkins. Even at S he'd be behind Reid, Loston, Martin and Eugene. Just better players. Wait until Derrick Raymond and Dwayne Thomas hit campus and he'd be behind those 2 in short order as well.
Gibson would be someone that falls into the same category. Very good athlete but not a very good football player. If he leaves then good luck to him.

Man he was my favorite player because I know him. He is a great guy and told me he was deep on the depth chart but understood that was football. Hope he does well.

just talked to him, he is transferring but is looking at a bunch of places not just Tulane.

who else might be transferring? I was thinking maybe macklin since he got passed up by rasco. macklin won't see field this year.

Vinson looks to be gone. Jenkins isnt going anywhere. Depth chart at CB looks like: Simon, Mathieu, Collins, Jenkins. Safety looks like: Reid, Loston, Martin, Eugene. Vinson isnt on the radar right now. Best of luck to Vinson and hope he excels wherever he goes or if he stays.

It's crazy how short the window of opportunity here closes. Last year he was someone pushing for playing time, now he is looking to transfer. Best of luck to him
