I don’t remember 100%, but I believe the Miami owner kept given Saban raises every time LSU would counter until they couldn’t. Someone with a better memory could probably correct me on that but I am almost positive he took an increase in pay to be HC at Miami as well!

Yeah, Baker's agents will do the heavy lifting and if it is a fit, he will be ready to formally interview and accept with the quickness...a very quick ascension for him...too quick?

Willie Fritz made $2.8 million the year before he left for Houston. Apparently they offered him $4.5 million to try to keep him at Tulane. Sumrall is reportedly making close to that $2.8 million right now.

No contact with Baker which has absolutely no bearing on his agent being used as an intermediary which is standard practice. We go through this every year. School and coach usually don't talk until the absolute last possible time.
