with all the problems we have the fact that we are currently only 1.5 games behind 1st place in the west is impressive. We are looking horrible right now but we are still in good shape.

Can't throw strikes when the ump is calling obvious strikes a ball, and indiscriminately calls a ball a strike every now and then.

I would agree with this in that we have gotten about the most we can out of this team. Pitching wise we've been so handicapped but pitching has been the thing we still lean on. Hitting on the other hand has no reason to be this bad.
