Acting like assistant coach attrition isn’t normal every year at big programs is laughable

What are you even labeling a mistake? You don’t even know the fricking replacement yet!!! Can you be any more biased?

Getting rid of your OC after year one is not normal assistant coaching attrition. Orgeron's done it twice now, both at OM and LSU.

This isn’t normal.

A 1st year OC making over a million splitting with a big time program without a HC job linked to him isn’t normal, Lester.

C’mon.

He ran his offense and I din’t like It. We need a legitimate pro style OC.

So why the meeting between lawyers? If what you are saying is true, LSU owes Canada $0.00.

What even is a pro style offense anymore? Pro teams run so many formations now that term is essentially outdated.

and you operate under the constant assumption that everyone just hates O for anything he does. How are you any better?

It’s not an assumption when the majority of the posters on this board constantly post things shitting on O, call for his firing, etc. when anything whatsoever goes wrong or not to their liking.

If I was guessing just based on the way people post that they hate O? Yeah you would have a point.

shhhhhhh....I'm sure when Canada took this job it was with the hope that after one season he could land a big time job like Rice.

He doesn’t get along with O

BigJ, Canada, with his contract, is not fireable. He simply isn’t.

I'd guess if he can't get Sark, he'll opt for Steve.

How do we know that this was not Canada's fault? They say that he even had beef with Aranda....I mean if the guy is not a team player then let him leave!

Canada should be given another year. O is a douche and needs to put his ego in check. Guy can’t coach worth a lick and should remember what life is like without decent coordinators around him.

I'll answer for him, because he knows the answer but won't admit it. Ed O is threatened by Canada who is smarter better at X and Os and generally a better coach. Now he is probably cocky and abrasive and saw through Orgeron so they had words on more than one occasion. Orgeron seeing a threat to his authority only knows one way to handle it get rid of him. He just isn't smart enough to use a talent like Canada to his advantage.

Wasn't there a Dellenger article (or some local writer) who said Canada had the opportunity to stay another year but didn't follow through on what he needed to do?

People are acting like coach O was the only coach to ever meddle in the offense or defense. Every coach has done it at one point or another. He's not even the first coach to do it to Canada. Canada should be used to it by now.
