Why is anyone surprised that the liberal media is siding with all of the other liberals in this country? They want us all to hide under our beds until a vaccine is created.

I thought Chicken banned such commentary.

Actually, not true. If he's calling himself a reporter and not a columnist, he owes it to us to actually report facts and keep his opinion out of his writing. It's called integrity, something he clearly lacks.

He's pompous and believes he's smarter than everyone else. But he's not really all that smart, and not really all that talented. He's just another Mizzou J-School grad with a highly inflated sense of self-importance.

It’s crazy how people continue to fall for these articles that are just meant to inflame and create a reaction for clicks.

This.

Journalism in general is a dying industry in light of the fact that the breadth of media options today has NEVER been greater with advent of the internet and social media. Gone are the days where we needed the newspaper, magazines, sportscenter, etc to provide us with information. We can watch virtually every major game on some platform and the players themselves can give us news about them via social media.

The goal of today's media is simply to constantly create division in order to get click views...both from those who agree with their position and those who hate it. They don't give a shite if you think their article/premise/opinion is terrible. Only that you read it.

In order for college football to be played this year the commissioners of the Big 12, ACC and SEC need to be united in their resolve against the Karens of the world and the loser journalist constantly writing doom and gloom pieces. The onslaught of panic driven "concern" pieces will amplify and multiply as we get closer to the start of the season. Every piece of "bad" news will be seized upon and extrapolated to encompass all of college football.

The Dellenger's, Forde's, Wolken's will do EVERYTHING they can to get the season canceled to benefit their own self-interest and subjugate their inferiority complex because the free market continues to render them obsolete. However, so myopic in their views, they fall to realize they are hastening the rush to make themselves obsolete. One thing I think we are all starting to realize throughout this "pandemic" is that the longer we are forced to go without sports...the more we realize we CAN go without sports. Not good if you make your living writing about a subject you are trying to make obsolete

not true

even 10 years ago most opinions were left to on-air talent and op eds. factual reporting was still the dominant force outside of fringe outlets

I bet Delly and Forde climaxed together on a zoom call after coining the term “Stubborn Six.”

Their crusade against college sports is disgusting.

The other day he posted that whiskey drink picture with zero context

Followed by “ACC leaders are having an unscheduled meeting toda :eyes: “

Then was like “oh by the way my sources tell me it’s nothing, still planning on having footballl”

Then you have Mandel throwing in the “we are living in two different universes!!!!” Everytime someone does something to play

It’s a headline meant to grab attention. That wasn’t invented yesterday

attention-seeking headlines and conflict-intended, opinion-based "reporting" are 2 very different things

*ETA: they can overlap for sure, but they're separate concepts entirely

Also someone tell frickin T-Bob and Jordy they need to pick a side either siding with trying to play, or keep defending and propping up their boy frickin Delly.

Ross Dellenger is a hack of a journalist.

I had to unfollow him on twitter because he was becoming such a clown ever since he moved to DC. He's definitely trying his best to fit into the DC beltway crowd.

I'm sure he'll be triggered by this thread and probably drink some shitty overpriced bourbon and tweet about it.

Dixon > Clown Delly
