Got a member of mine who is president of IMG and can get me free tickets to the game... so now I am going! What’s the best hotels to look at for the game? Where is the Tiger faithful shacking up?

I'm at Hilton Pasadena. Nothing is walking distance but it's closest.

If you do this DO NOT TRY TO DRIVE TO THE ROSE BOWL! Take the metrorail to downtown Pasadena and then take the free shuttle from there to the front gate of the Rose Bowl. You've been warned..............................................................

The only place I have booked so far is the Paso Robles Inn for the week before the game. We will leave there Thursday morning to drive to L.A.

Are Ubers/cabs an option between the Rose Bowl and L.A.?
And what exactly is the issue with driving to the Rose Bowl? Parking, traffic, both?

So had a few rooms booked at the Sheraton Pasadena. FIL went to book his room and came across no availability. Figured it must have been sold out due to the game. Looked closer and they are apparently not taking any new reservations there for dates of stay in 2021. It appears the hotel is currently closed after an attempted reopening in February.
I tried calling the hotel directly and I get nothing, no message or anything. Their website through Marriott mentions nothing about this.
Anyone who booked there have any additional info?
