Absolutely. Already have hotels reserved in both cities.

I don't think you have to worry about getting a hotel room in either city.

What other bowl games have you been to so I can know if your opinion of it being by far the best bowl is valid or not.

Actually most of hotels in Pasadena seemed to be booked up. I booked a room in LA.

you can get some really good hotel rates in L.A. as long as you don't try to stay in Pasadena....
the problem with the Phoenix area is that it's high season and their rates will be SKY high....

By city I meant LA.

yes,
lived there for 30 years. the rose bowl is perfect for football. the weather is perfect.
drive to beach, drive to hollywood.
been to over 10 rosebowl parades. they don't throw anything, but the floats will even stun a yat.
back in la. but would go in a minute.
highly recommend.

Requested tickets for both places and would make the trip to Rose or Fiesta. Not going to Cap One (I will never forgive them for the field of jello), Chik-Fil-A (yawn), or Cotton (really not that fond of Jerry Dome).
Was all lined up a few years back for Rose Bowl, and then UCLA did the unthinkable. But the 40,000+ ticket requests could be a feather in the hat of LSU. It's all about the almighty dollar!

I would be in Glendale for sure (because I'm going home to Phx for xmas anyways) and I think I would make the short trip to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl if that's where we ended up.
