Brennan was literally sprinting out of a clean pocket. That’s a big fricking problem

Exactly Burrow wouldn’t have , you’re right , however Rohan said we missed Joe Brady not joe burrow , which is simply ignorant

Brennan is a list cause. Look at the video of his plays last season. You saw the exact same things today. Playing a freshman that can see and understand the game would be better. And if neither can then sign somebody that will. Bo Nix walked in and did it. So did Tua and Lawrence.

Of course we missed both. The question he was asked was would it be different if Brady was still here.

Disagree. He admitted that the play calls were similar to last year. But the timing was horrible and we threw the ball way too much. And we still missed more of the shorter routes

Ehhhh tempo was off

Red zone was atrocious

This is what 2018 would have looked like if Burrow and crew ran 2019 plays. It is the same offense as 2019 with 2018 issues new QB New running back new receivers new o line They will get better.

Linehan was supposed to be in charge of the redzone.

2 years ago our Redzone offense was bad too

Looked like he was a zombie staring ahead every time he was in the press box on TV
Brady seemed to be the person running the show. Maybe body language and talking into the headphones meant nothing. E could have telepathic communication to the field.

People were open, Brennan just took forever to process. They ran the same plays. The problem was running man coverage against mesh, Y Cross, etc all damn game

Burrow wouldn’t have missed wide open receivers.

Burrow was much better at feeling pressure and stepping up in the pocket to avoid it.

Burrow would have found the wide arse open receivers downfield and gotten the ball to them.

We don't need Burrow to have a pocket presence and hit wide open receivers. Most NCAA I caliber QB would do it but our QB didn't, and that is the things worry me.

the defense forced 4, almost 5 turn overs.

They also gave up over 600 yards of offense

If Brennan obviously isn’t burrow, running the same plays doesn’t work. That’s the point

Literally 80% of other qbs would have hit those receivers.

He's wrong. The play calling was not the issue.

Nah. Even Ensminger said Brady handling the red zone. We bogged down in the red zone multiple times today.

Play calling was fine it was the execution that sucked balls.

Today looked like we took Brady’s offense and tried to force an incapable QB to execute it

Brennan in the pocket doesn't look like a QB capable of very much.

The defense is the main problem Period! Is Brennan Joe Burrow? No! We never thought he would be , but MB didn’t lose that game . The defense lost that game! That should be clear to everyone, but I see more blame going to the offense than anywhere else.
