If hearing "fallout" from Bama fans is all you're worried about, you can stop worrying. They will whine and bitch and claim they were the best and that our title is not "earned" regardless of who we play in the NC game, even if it's them. Beating them in Tuscaloosa didn't convince them...what could possibly make you think beating them in New Orleans would?

Nope, and there is none, at least between LSU and Alabama. We already beat them at their place. Doubts erased. Oklahoma State, on the other hand, which has better accomplishments on the season than Alabama, might have a legitimate reason to question the validity of an incestuous rematch from the self-proclaimed "best conference", especially when the computers disagree with that claim.
You want to erase doubt? If that's your agenda, then you should want us to play the team we HAVEN'T already beaten on the road.

People like him and the Gumps will ALWAYS claim they were better than LSU, no matter how many times we beat them. Sad.

We already know through an objective measure (the scoreboard) that LSU is better than Alabama. We don't know that about OSU.

agree, the conference title games are not even aligned right with the rest of the football world.
