The “situation” is all to familiar to anyone who watches the news in this city. Saying so is not being an arse, just honest with one self.

Has anyone sent it to the police???? It's amazing that so many people just video it and share it like it's entertaining

Because I want to see what happened?

Why are you in a thread that talks about someone dying?

That's the world we live in now, man. I agree that it's disgusting.

Prayers to the Sims family and entire LSU basketball family.

Hopefully the coaches tell the players to stay away from Southern, you go to LSU, if your gf goes there, y'all can hangout around LSU, too much trash at SU...stay away

I haven’t seen it. I am sure the cops have it. If they didn’t they would be asking for it.

Dude, wayde’s friend and teammate recorded it, or at the very least knows it was recorded. I guarantee you the police have seen it

People need to chill out

Absolutely awful to hear this news. Forget basketball, this is a young man who had his whole life ahead of him and now it's over because of something so senseless.

College athletes, white, black, basketball, football, etc. have been getting in fights since college sports were invented. But to have a fight end in a shooting death is pathetic.

There's nothing good that comes of this. But hopefully his teammates realize they have a golden opportunity to better their lives by being college student athletes with all the opportunity in the world at their fingertips and this keeps them from interacting with worthless sacks of shite who have no regard for human life whatsoever.

This is just awful, all the way around.

I feel for Coach Wade, who has to come up with the right things to say and do with a group of young men who are just as devastated as he is right now.

If prayer is your thing, pray that Coach Wade can have the strength and wisdom to guide his players through this time. For some of those kids, this might be the worst thing that they have ever had to deal with.

Coach Wade is a good man and a good leader and I am confident he will handle this with grace and dignity.

"Drop a username"

Its not like facebook where you can just search for a video or a person. Like I said my son is 19 and his age bracket is sharing the video on social media mainly instagram. If your not following one of the people that have the video it will be hard to see it. The person who had the video that he showed me has a private page meaning that person will have to approve you as a friend before you can see anything on that page. My son did not have to search at all. He scrolled down instagram and one of the people he is following posted the video. I dont know how to personally locate the video but it was very clear and a lot of people were present. i cant see this taking more than a few days to solve. You have to remember that police know a lot more than what the share with the media. Im sure they dont want the shooter to know that the know who he is.

Have the BR "community activists" said anything about this?

Let me guess....nothing but crickets.
