AU has lost a couple of student athletes to senseless gun violence the last few years. It's such a shame and I'm sorry for your loss. Prayers to the LSU family and the family of this young man.

that dude with the video, "ree will" has pictures in a southern shirt with an alabama facebook frame that says "roll tide" ...figure that one out

Damn. 2 guns. Man... just fight. I mean I'm only 30 been in a few back in the days but we fought and that's it. Most of the time few weeks afterward you were hanging out with them. Not all the time. But alot of it. I just don't get the need to kill so fricking easily.. there is 5 more of them then him.. wow. Senseless. Now with 2 kids, call me whatever u want, I'm not putting my life on the line for my ego. Now once u cross over to my SO, or children, or mother I'm allow it to get physical but that IS IT! Haven't been in a fight in 8 years. Wouldn't do it again ever if i had my choice. Too many trigger happy cowards. Once again. Rip young man and I am so so sorry for his parents and LSU family.

I'm sure he went to Alabama for Undergrad, he's probably working on a second Master's at Southern

Yeah it's not easy to spot but after watching a few times you can definitely see a flash...
Red pants reaches to his side/back, his arm comes out and up pointing toward Sims, small flash and a pop, Sims drops.
It's definitely red pants. Plus somebody said he was shot in the chest... which leads to the shooter being in front of him.

The shooter in the video knew exactly what he was doing. You can tell he had no intentions of fighting. He baited Sims by coming close to him all while his hand was near his waistband. Then he simply just backed up as Sims finally went towards him and pulled the gun out and shot him. Only thing more coward would have been shooting him in the back. This really is heartbreaking and tragic to say the least. Condolences and prayers to the entire Sims' family.

I just looked again. Dude in the red fighting Simms pulls his arms up to block a punch, (don’t see a flash)but while all that is going on, the dude on the left backing up in the white T-shirt dark jeans has already pulled out his gun from his waist and is pointing it, then you hear the shot.
I saw arrest them both.

Video games that have players shooting at one another
Movies that involve shooting, explosions, gore, etc.
Movies that glorify gangster life
It all blurs the line between fantasy and real life and it desensitizes human life.
