Why is it damning to the DAs office? They were the ones who disproved the LSPs account.

Yeah, months later after the fact & after Kyren had already taken his life. Maybe they should have originally performed a better investigation before filing charges against Lacy to begin with. You know do their jobs thoroughly like the tax payers who pay their salaries expect of them.

A tale as old as time: Louisiana having corruption in departments you’re supposed to trust. I just hate that it was a catalyst in a tragedy like this.

This is why I stated Innocent until proven guilty. I'm pretty sure I mentioned that it's terrible he was in that situation and nothing more. I'm not one to judge because prior to the military I was a punk/college dropout. Now I'm about to graduate in the spring.

I also don’t blame those people for being wrong in the first place. Our anger shouldn’t be directed at those people who said things on a message board they now regret, but at the individuals responsible for the lies in the first place.

Those comments weren't just isolated to this site though. They were all over social media platforms as well. You are kidding yourself if you don't think negative comments added to Kyren's depression & ultimate decision to take his own life.

Weak minds have weak thoughts which become strong opinions, an incorrect consensus builds, everyone organizes around it, they slam and ridicule anyone who dissents and they hide when proven wrong. Cynical ideologues rush in to make political points to gain power or advantage. Very few people ever stop up to say that they were wrong. Which begs the question; maybe we should have ALL the evidence before we offer definitive opinions.

The admins used to do a decent job policing the board when it came to threads & posts concerning players & legal issues but now it's anything goes.

All over what? Were you there or are you going by a video that the defense attorney posted?

Pretty damn good info in that video. Altered interviews, real time video, lies by the woman who lost control. Her KIA blackbox data crucified her and she lied about the truck in front of her swerving right.

I’m trying to understand why the state police had to fabricate a lie. There were several witnesses to the crash all around the collision according to the video. And why pin it on Lacy and not the other cars that came after it? Did the police just pick out his car because it was a green sports car and they knew Lacy had that car and that’s why they targeted him?
