I wonder how he'll react going from JJ to Tom fricking Brady. I'm sure "culture shock" is an understatement.

I think it would be similar to upgrading from pager/pay phone to an iphone4

He needs to be on suicide watch. The shock may be to much.

Couldn't find that yet. I'm sure details will show, but as a 3rd round pick, I'd hope he's set up well for his first contract. What I like is that he got the business behind him and got on the field now...not a week,or weeks, later. He's a warrior.

That would be the case coming from 99% of all college QBs.

Its amazing he was picked so high by BB. What does he know? 90% of LSU fans think he should still be on the bench behind Ford!

Going to New England he is coached by a guy who gives every player a chance to excel. Work your arse off, make some plays, a player gets a chance. No mind games up there, and that is great for Ridley because he has had his head plugged in to business of playing pro football since the first day he declared to go pro.

Great things ahead for Ridley. His years of hard work will play big dividends. From Trinity in Natchez and on thru LSU he proved them all wrong. He can do it, and he will. Congrats!!!

Not trying to be a debbie downer, just passing the info along
I read somewhere he dropped two passes in his first practice which is expected
I still think hes guna be a very good sammie morris type player for the pats and if not a very good special teamer

Great for him. He is capable of making an impact on the next level. And the Pats are pretty much the best organisation to play for.

I wonder how the new rookie payscales effect him?

Saints fan first. That's it. NE is a organization that every NFL franchise should try and model after but I surely don't root for them .

I am no NE fan but I do enjoy seeing all the success the former Tigers have playing for BB.

Congrats to Ridley!
