Ricky Jean Francois is a thug, nothing more, nothing less. And since he's from Haiti, has anyone even checked to see if he's in this country legally?

Not good. He shouldn't say this stuff, even if it's true. Hit him as hard as we can, yes. Try to injure him? No. This is needless motivation for Florida and sounds almost like dirty play.

I think you misunderstood his quote. He wants to hurt Tebow, not injure him. There is a big difference.

"Take him out" means injure. There really isn't much room for interpretation.

If someone from UF said they wanted to take out CS. The rant would go ape shite on him. If I were RJF, I'd definitely be watching for a good one or two chop blocks Sat. night.

Let me ask you this: if said chop block were to occur, can you really BLAME the Gator who chops him, considering the venomous hatred he spewed towards Tim Tebow in his comments? That's what I thought.

but is this a little over the top and considered "bulletin board" material?

Yes I'm afraid that it is and may make him look silly come Saturday. I hope I'm wrong, but I've never understood why anyone has to talk this way about a future oponent. What good can come from it?

If you have the requisite amount of brain grey matter there is indeed room for interpretation. I played LB in high school and my goal EVERY game was to hurt the opposing team's players. I wanted to hit them so hard they couldn't walk straight; however, I never, NEVER, wanted to injure anybody. Hurt is temporary. Injured can be permanent. Hopefully this help you understand.

When you say, "take him out" and then you follow that up with a reference to the school's medical facility, I think it is very clear what he is saying.

Your team is Bama though. How can we kick RJF off of Bama? Your bigotry is Bama like as well. Go home Gump.

I'm sure Tebow won't lose any sleep over RJF's dumbass comment. He's been a marked man since he's been at UF and he seems to be the only one doing the hitting. LSU's dbs should be pissed at RJF cause Tebow may decide to go ahead and lower his head and take out a few dbs Sat. night.

How do you take someone out of the game? By hurting them, or injuring them?

I can't believe you are seriously defending this.

Has anyone from The Advocate (Or TD) asked RJF about these comments? There are three sides to every story.

Let's hear Ricky's side of this alleged interview by a Gaytor reporter for a blog called Swamp Things before we banish a player from our team who scares the living hell out of offensive lines and QB's by his actions on the field. This guy Fowler is likely searching for locker room quotes, he is a homer.

Either you don't understand the argument or you are pretending you don't understand the argument. One of the goals of as a defensive player should be to hit the opposition so hard they "go wobbly" and have to make their way to the sideline in a punch-drunk stupor. That's football. The medical staff can assist them by making their bone-jarring induced headache a little more tolerable. This has nothing to do with injuring anybody (i.e. Chaz Ramsey on Glen Dorsey).
