Please video it and post it here.
Go ahead and split jerk it while you are at it.

He is going to put 250 on the bar and then come back and laught at his posts
He won't even attempt it once he feels that weight

If you lifted at all, you should be power cleaning well over 315 by your Junior year of college. This is not an accomplishment for a 20 or so year old Major D 1 football player to brag about on social media.
Holy shite. Did you not see the chart on the page 4? What Jefferson did was in the top 7% of the fricking human race.

Yeah he backed off the statement but he did say that just about every guy you see at bar can clean 250. 90% of the people you see at bar can't bench 250 let alone clean it.

I said everyone could walk up to the bar meaning the barbell. Not the drunks hanging out around tiger land.
I have no idea how this is going to go. But I will definitely film it. Actually looking forward to it. If I paralyze myself just trying to deadlift it then I will be back to admit I was wrong

315 isn't a big clean. it's a really good clean but I would think that every player on LSU's roster can clean it.
Absolutely not. There are probably less than a dozen college ball players that can clean 350+ and I doubt any of them are defensive backs.
315 is a very impressive clean for someone in a defensive backfield

You might have trouble with 150

I doubt that. 315 is pretty good for someone of Jefferson's size but I wouldnt be shocked if LSU had a dozen guys that could clean 350.

Damn only 150.....I clearly didnt make any friends here tonight

Going by the chart on page 4 of this thread if you weigh 220 or less a 350 lbs clean puts you in the top 5% of the human race. Not many smaller guys can clean 350. Not a squat clean but a real clean.

Power Clean
Leading the way is former Georgia Tech linebacker Julian Burnett, with a 350-pound lift and Arizona State’s Carl Bradford, who posted a 385-pound pull.
Even higher, at the 400-pound level, is super-strong Arkansas State lineman Ryan Carrethers.
Sounds like there is usually only a handful a year in the entire college football landscape that are on record doing so

Yeah I don't think people realize how hard it is to pick 350 lbs up and throw it above your shoulders.

Im going to do this but I feel I should put in a disclaimer.
Ive had good clean maxes in my life its just been about 10 years or so since Ive done them. Ill be shocked if I really cant do at least 200

I dunno man everyone on the ot cleans on average 385 front squats 550 deadlifts 660 and overhead presses 315 and runs 4.45 at 6'4 245

From now on I'm saying "Wait til Moffit.. oops, I mean, the unknown fat black hypeman who apparently lives in the LSU weight room... gets a hold of him."

Someone in another thread was saying Guice cleaned 352 today and only 3 guys on the team got over 350. I don't know who his source is though.
Posted on 7/21/15 at 9:52 pm to tlsu15
He may have been one of them. By all accounts he is a weight room freak

I said 250-350 on high school clean. 350 being the most and 250 being the least. Definitely not possible for every 18 year old to clean 350, but I would think most grown men could walk up to a bar and clean 250 pretty comfortably
